Delete your ScarabPay account
You can ask us to delete your ScarabPay account and its personal data at any time. This page is for the ScarabPay website and the "ScarabPay: Virtual Cards" app by Takotna, LLC.
Before you delete
Withdraw any remaining balance from your wallet.
Close your active virtual cards.
Wait for any pending eSIM, gift card or withdrawal orders to finish.
Delete in the app
1. Open the ScarabPay app and sign in.
2. Go to Account, then tap Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your account is closed right away.
Delete by e-mail
Send a message to [email protected] from the e-mail address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm and complete your request within 30 days.
What happens to your data
Your account is closed and you can no longer sign in.
Your personal data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days.
Records the law requires us to keep, such as transaction and identity verification records, are kept for as long as required (usually up to 5 years) and for fraud prevention, then deleted.
