Account information: your name, e-mail address, password (stored only in hashed form), phone number, country, city and address.

Identity verification: the type and number of your identity document, photos of the document and a selfie you upload.

Financial information: your wallet balance, deposits, withdrawals, transfers between users, virtual card activity, eSIM and gift card purchases, and the crypto wallet addresses you use with us.

Device and technical information: a push notification token, device identifiers, IP address, and app or browser information.

Messages you send to our support team.

To create and run your account and provide our services: virtual cards, eSIM, gift cards, deposits, withdrawals and transfers.

To verify your identity and meet our legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing checks.

To protect your account and prevent fraud, for example with your app PIN, withdrawal PIN and two-step verification.

To send you notifications about your account and transactions, and to answer your support requests.

To keep our services working well and improve them.

We do not sell your personal data.

We share information only with service providers that help us run ScarabPay, such as card issuing partners, eSIM providers, blockchain and payment partners, hosting providers, Google Firebase (for notifications) and Google Sign-In (if you choose to use it). They may use it only to provide their service to us.

We may disclose information to authorities when the law requires it.

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords and PINs are stored only in hashed form, and access to personal data is limited to people who need it.

We keep your information while your account is open.

When your account is deleted, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep, such as transaction and identity verification records, which we keep for as long as required (usually up to 5 years) and for fraud prevention, then delete.

In the app: open Account, then Delete account.

On the web: follow the steps at scarabpay.com/delete-account.

By e-mail: write to [email protected] from the e-mail address on your account.

Please withdraw any remaining balance and close your active cards before deleting your account.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to certain processing, by writing to [email protected].

ScarabPay is only for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Our website uses cookies that are needed to keep you signed in and to remember your language.

We may update this policy. We will show the new date at the top of this page and tell you about important changes in the app or by e-mail.
