Keep your Leonardo.Ai tokens flowing with a USDT-funded card
Halfway through a set of character sheets or product mockups, your plan failed to renew and the token counter stopped refilling. Fund a ScarabPay virtual card with USDT and get your monthly fast tokens back from Leonardo's billing page.
How Leonardo's token system shapes the way you work
Every generation spends fast tokens, and the cost grows with the GPU work you ask for. Knowing what is expensive lets one plan carry a whole project.
Bigger jobs cost more
Larger sizes, more images per batch, upscales and above all video eat far more tokens than a single draft image. Leonardo shows the cost on the Generate button before you click.
Draft small, finish big
Explore poses, palettes and product angles at low resolution, then upscale only the frames that will go into a store listing or a game build.
Plan heavy months ahead
Before a launch, a sales season or a game jam, lean on rollover tokens, add a top-up pack or move up a plan for that month, and load the card first.
Why your card gets declined on Leonardo AI
Leonardo takes the whole plan amount in one charge, so your card either covers it cleanly or the checkout stops. Three causes come up again and again.
The international charge is blocked
Leonardo bills as a foreign online merchant for most buyers, and many local bank cards reject payments abroad unless you switch them on first.
Pay with a ScarabPay virtual card, which is meant for international online services, instead of a local card with foreign payments turned off.
The balance is below the plan price
A yearly plan is charged in one go, and checkout may add a small temporary hold to test the card. If the card holds exactly the plan price or less, the charge fails.
Load the full amount shown at checkout plus a small buffer. The test hold is released after the check.
Too many retries in a row
Pressing pay again and again after a failure looks like card testing, so the processor or the card issuer can freeze further attempts for a while.
Stop after two tries, fix the real cause (balance, name or address), wait a short time and then try once more.
How to pay for Leonardo AI step by step
- 1
Open a ScarabPay account
Register on scarabpay.com or in the Android app and complete identity verification (KYC).
- 2
Deposit USDT
Send USDT from your exchange or personal wallet to your ScarabPay balance.
- 3
Create and fund a Virtual card
Issue a reloadable Virtual card and move the plan price plus a small margin onto it.
- 4
Go to Subscription and Billing
On app.leonardo.ai click the Settings icon at the bottom of the left sidebar, then choose Subscription and Billing under Workspace Settings.
- 5
Pick a plan and a billing period
Choose Essential, Premium or Ultimate, switch between Pay Monthly and Pay Yearly, then enter the card number, expiry, CVC and the cardholder name exactly as ScarabPay shows it.
- 6
Check your token counter
Once the payment clears, the plan's fast tokens appear in your balance. Extra top-up tokens can be bought from the same page later.
Which ScarabPay card should you use?
Virtual
Leonardo renews your plan automatically every month or year and keeps a card in Payment Details for top-up packs. The reloadable Virtual card stays saved there; add USDT before the renewal date and your work is never cut off.
Lite
Lite is a single-use card that cannot be reloaded. It might cover the first payment, but the next renewal would decline and you would lose your paid features, so it does not suit a Leonardo subscription.
Tips so your payment goes through
- Subscribe on the website rather than inside the iPhone app: in-app purchases are billed through the App Store, and the card saved on the web does not control them.
- Put the renewal date in your calendar and load the card a day or two before it, especially when a yearly plan is about to renew.
- Budget the Leonardo API on its own if your shop or game pipeline uses it: API usage runs on a separate plan and does not draw on your web subscription tokens.
Frequently asked questions
Which Leonardo.Ai plans can I pay for with a ScarabPay card?
The individual plans (Essential, Premium and Ultimate) as well as team plans paid by card. Plan names and allowances change from time to time, so check the pricing page before you load the card.
What happens when my fast tokens run out?
On Essential you wait for the next monthly refill or buy top-up tokens. Premium and Ultimate can keep generating on eligible models in Relaxed mode at lower priority, but third-party models and some tools always need tokens.
Do unused tokens carry over to next month?
Paid plans move unused tokens into a rollover bank, up to a cap that depends on your plan. Top-up tokens do not expire, but you can only spend them while a subscription is active.
Is the Leonardo API included in my subscription?
No. The API has its own plans and its own credit, billed separately from the web app. You can usually add the same ScarabPay card there, but it is a separate charge to plan for.
Monthly or yearly: which is easier with a virtual card?
Yearly billing works out cheaper per month, but it is one large charge that must fit on the card at once. Monthly means smaller payments and a top-up reminder every month.
