Keep Canva Pro after the free trial with a USDT-funded virtual card
The trial ended, the first charge bounced and your account slipped back to Free halfway through a client project? Load a ScarabPay virtual card before the end date so Canva can bill it on time.
What a paid Canva plan adds to brand work
Canva Free covers one-off posts. A paid plan starts to matter when the same logo, colours and fonts have to appear across dozens of formats every week.
Brand Kit
Keep logos, colour palettes and fonts in one place so each new design starts on-brand; Canva Business adds tools for managing the brand across a team.
One-click resize
Magic Resize turns a finished design into a story, a banner or a thumbnail without rebuilding it from scratch.
Background Remover and premium content
Cut product photos out of their background and use the premium templates, photos and graphics that the Free plan keeps locked.
Why your card gets declined on Canva
Canva usually fails at one of three moments: the day a trial converts, the day you add people to a team, or the moment you save a new card.
We couldn't process your paymentThe trial converts on an empty card
A trial started with a card turns into a paid plan on its end date, and Canva charges the full monthly or yearly price that day. If the card holds less than that amount, the charge fails and the account returns to Canva Free.
Check the end date under Settings → Billing and load the card a day or two before it, with the full plan price on it.
Payment declined. Please try another card.Your team grew and so did the charge
Canva Business, like the older Canva Teams plan, is priced per person. Inviting new members raises what Canva bills, and the extra seats can show up as an additional charge before your usual renewal date.
Top up for the new seats before you send invitations, then compare the member count with the amount shown on the Billing page.
Your card could not be verifiedThe card fails the check when you save it
When a card is added, Canva may place a small temporary authorisation and compare the billing details. A card with zero balance or a name and address that differ from the card record can be refused.
Type the cardholder name and billing address exactly as they appear in ScarabPay and leave a small buffer above the plan price.
Pay on canva.com or inside the mobile app?
Subscribing on canva.com
- Canva charges your ScarabPay card directly, so you can see each payment in your card history.
- The Billing page shows the exact amount, the trial end date and the next renewal.
- Seats, monthly or yearly billing and cancellation are all managed in one place.
Subscribing in the Canva app
- Apple or Google bills the payment method saved in your store account, not your Canva account.
- Store prices and taxes can differ from what the website shows.
- Changes and cancellation happen only in the App Store or Google Play, and a store trial cannot be skipped in the app.
How to pay for Canva step by step
- 1
Open a ScarabPay account
Register on the website or in the Android app and complete the identity check.
- 2
Fund your balance with USDT
Transfer USDT from your crypto wallet or exchange to your ScarabPay balance.
- 3
Create a reloadable virtual card
Move enough onto it for your plan; for Canva Business count every seat, then add a small buffer.
- 4
Open Billing on canva.com
Sign in from a browser, click your profile icon, choose Settings and go to Billing, or press Upgrade your plan on the homepage.
- 5
Choose Pro or Business and pay
Select monthly or yearly billing, enter the ScarabPay card details and confirm the upgrade.
- 6
Note the next charge date
The Billing page shows when the trial ends or the plan renews; add USDT to the card before that date.
Which ScarabPay card should you use?
Canva comes back to the saved card again and again: when the trial converts, at every monthly or yearly renewal and whenever seats are added. The reloadable virtual card stays on file, and you simply add USDT before each of those dates.
A Lite card is meant for one payment and cannot be topped up. Canva would accept it once, but the trial conversion, later renewals and seat changes all reuse the same card, so those charges would fail. Pick the Virtual card for Canva.
Frequently asked questions
Will Canva charge me when the free trial ends?
Yes, if you started the trial with a card, the paid plan begins on the end date and the card is charged then. Canva emails a reminder beforehand. To avoid the charge, cancel under Settings → Billing before the trial ends.
Can I end the trial early and start paying now?
On the website, open Billing, choose Get more and then Start subscription today. Billing starts immediately and the unused trial days are lost. Trials started through Apple or Google cannot be skipped inside the app.
Can I still buy Canva Teams?
Canva says Teams is no longer open to new sign-ups or upgrades; the team plan is now Canva Business. Existing Teams subscriptions keep renewing, and a ScarabPay virtual card can be used for either.
How much should I load for a team?
Multiply the per-person price shown at checkout by the number of members, then add a small buffer. Top up again before you invite more people, because extra seats increase the charge.
I subscribed in the iPhone or Android app. Can I switch to the card?
App subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so cancel them in the App Store or Google Play; deleting the app does not cancel anything. When the paid period ends, subscribe on canva.com with your ScarabPay card to avoid paying twice.
