Your TikTok Ads Manager says the payment was unsuccessful, or your local card is not accepted? Load a ScarabPay virtual Visa card with USDT and fund your TikTok ad account in US dollars.
Every format below is billed from the same ad account, so one virtual card covers them all. Pick the one that fits your goal.

How TikTok Ads Manager takes payment
Before you add a card, decide how your ad account will pay. TikTok offers two main options, and the choice matters later.
Automatic payment
TikTok charges your saved card as your ads spend: when the amount owed reaches your billing threshold, and on a regular billing date. Once you switch an account to automatic payment, TikTok does not let you move it back to manual.
Manual payment (add balance)
You top up the ad account first from Tools, Billing, Payment and Add balance. Ads deliver from that balance and pause when it reaches zero, so you only spend what you added.

The ScarabPay virtual card works for both: use it to add balance whenever you want, or keep it saved for automatic charges and reload it with USDT as your spend grows.
Why TikTok declines your card for ads
TikTok often shows only a short "unsuccessful" notice. These are the usual reasons behind it, with the fix for each.
01Payment unsuccessful
Your bank blocks charges from TikTok
Many local cards are not enabled for foreign online advertising charges, so the bank rejects the transaction before it reaches TikTok.
The ScarabPay virtual card is built for international online payments in USD.
02Insufficient balance
The card holds less than the amount charged
With automatic payment, TikTok collects what you owe at once when you hit the threshold. A card with a lower balance fails, and delivery stops.
Keep more than your threshold on the card, then retry the payment from the Payment page.
03Card not supported
Card currency or type does not match the account
A card in a different currency from your ad account, or one that does not support online recurring charges, can be refused when you add it.
Create a USD ad account and add the reloadable virtual card, not a single-use card.
04Account under review
Repeated failed attempts on the account
Trying the same card again and again in a short time can flag the account and hold your campaigns until the issue is reviewed.
Top up first, then make one clean attempt instead of many retries.

Virtual · Recommended
TikTok charges again and again, either from the balance you add or at every threshold. The reloadable virtual card stays saved in your account and you add USDT whenever your campaigns need more.

Lite · Not for subscriptions
Lite is a single-use card. It might cover one top-up, but it cannot be reloaded, so the next charge or top-up would fail.
Keep your TikTok ad account running smoothly
Choose manual or automatic payment carefully: automatic cannot be switched back to manual later.
Create the ad account in USD so charges match the card currency.
Keep enough on the card for the next charge, especially before a sale or a launch.
Avoid repeated retries after a decline; reload first, then try once.
Use the same name and country details on the ad account and your ScarabPay account.
Frequently asked questions
Can I pay for TikTok ads with a virtual card?
Yes. TikTok Ads Manager accepts Visa cards for both adding balance and automatic payment. Load the ScarabPay virtual card with USDT before you pay.
Should I use manual or automatic payment on TikTok?
Manual payment lets you add a fixed balance and stop when it runs out, which helps control spend. Automatic payment charges your card as you spend. Note that TikTok does not allow switching back to manual after choosing automatic.
Where do I add balance in TikTok Ads Manager?
Open Tools, then Billing, go to the Payment page and click Add balance. If a Business Center manages the account, add balance from Payment management in the Business Center.
Why does TikTok say "payment unsuccessful"?
Usually the card balance is too low, the bank blocked the charge, or the card does not match the account currency. Reload the card, check the details and retry once.
Can I run TikTok ads in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and the Gulf with this card?
Yes, as long as TikTok ads are available for your ad account and targeting. The card pays in USD, so a USD ad account is the simplest setup.
Is my TikTok ad balance refundable?
Refunds of unused ad balance follow TikTok's own billing policy and are handled by TikTok, not by ScarabPay.
