How do I install an eSIM on iPhone or Android?

Install the eSIM while connected to Wi-Fi, ideally before you travel.
On iPhone
- Open Settings, then Cellular or Mobile Data.
- Choose Add eSIM.
- Scan the QR code shown in the eSIM details in ScarabPay.
On Android
- Open Settings, then Network or SIM settings.
- Choose Add eSIM.
- Scan the QR code.
Manual installation
If you can't scan the code, choose manual entry on your phone and copy the activation code from the eSIM details.
When you arrive
- Select the new eSIM for mobile data.
- Turn on Data roaming for this eSIM.
Don't delete the eSIMIf installation fails, contact support before deleting the eSIM from your phone — many eSIMs can't be installed again after deletion.
